Abstract (EN)

This thesis, deals with the relationship between economic trust and personality types in the context of the approach of behavioral economics to the concept of trust using experimental methods. Behavioral economics aims to make more realistic predictions about the economic preferences of individuals by making use of many different disciplines, especially the psychology. The empirical data used for this purpose and the different adaptations of these empirical applications have brought a completely different dimension to economics, causing the research topics of economics to expand in the field of psychology. The personalities of individuals affect many issues in their lives and cause some differences between their approach to events. However, when the mainstream economics literature is analyzed, an approach that unifies the individual is encountered. On the other hand, behavioral economics, examines how differences between individuals affect economic preferences and many other topics. In this context, the main aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between economic trust and personality types and understand how these are affected by the personality types. Keywords: Behavioral Economics, Experimental Economics, Psychology of Personaltiy, Trust, Personality Type
