Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the evaluation of the female labor force have been mentioned through Feminist Economics because unlike ideas which make women invisible in the economy, by reviewing all applications qualified with masculine gender, Feminist Economics supports an economic approach included not just men, not just women but involved by women also. At first, in mainstream economics and all other known economic approaches, women's experiences were not reflected to the studies and generally focused on economic models which are not included women. From ancient times till today, the fact that women have been one step behind men and this has been placed in minds not only in economy but in all other areas based on social gender perceptions. So, ' birth of feminism' as well as Feminist economics have also importance. From this point of view, with the emergence of feminism all ideas from past to present about women in society have been addressed in the first chapter and social status of women in society have been evaluated first. After then, the emergence of feminist economics and its scope have been studied and rationality as well as woman's sensuality in the workforce have been discussed in the second part. In the last part of the study, by discussing sectors instead of women workforce of Turkey economy have been mentioned with statistics in the specified period and in the same period all factors about getting included women in economy have been studied.
