Investigation of the relationship between students at the province sports centers and the enjoyment guide of sports

This research; it was carried out to examine the relation between the motivation of the participation of students in the provincial sports centers to life satisfaction. The universe of the research consisted of a total of 547 students, 290 men and 257 women enrolled in the Provincial Sports Center within the Yozgat Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports in the 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the research; 247 women and 278 men who renewed their registrations at the Yozgat Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate are 525 students in total. In this research, the scale method used in applied research was used. In the study; As a data collection tool, Gill, et al. (1983) and developed by Oyar et al. (2001) adapted to the Turkish population by the Participation Motivation Questionnaire (PMQ) and the Life Satisfaction Scale adapted by Ataer and Ekşi in 2018, developed by Gaderman, Reichl and Zumbo (2009). Personal Information Form consisting of demographic information such as gender, gender was used. In the analysis of the data; descriptive statistical techniques, One Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA), Multi Way Variance Analysis (MANOVA) and Pearson Correlation technique were used. According to the results of statistical analysis; there was no significant difference between life satisfaction, gender and class groups and income status. A significant difference was found between life satisfaction and age group (p<0.05). The duration of students' motivation to participate in sports in their sports center didn't differ according to their groups. It was determined that most of the students preferred the provincial sports centers in terms of facilities and materials. As a result; while gender is not important for life satisfaction, it can be said that men are more effective than women in the drive to participate in sports. It can also be said that the increases in the level of life satisfaction and participation in sporare effective in sub-dimensions.
