Abstract (EN)

The term "healthy literacy" with its increasing importance in current times may shortly be described as the ability of comprehension, and interpreting and appropriately behaving of the individual after being introduced with medical information. The aim of the present study was to measure its effect on the health literacy and creativity of the workers of drug manufacturing for the recently developing demand, and trading volume of the service sector. In our study, it was observed that the median health literacy of women was higher than the median values of male participants, and the difference was statistically significant (p=0.01). When health literacy was examined according to age distribution, it was seen that the health literacy levels of the participants in different age groups were different and this difference was statistically significant (p=0.04). In the study, it was observed that the SOY level scores increased proportionally as the education level increased. It is seen that the median values of the female participants in the goal orientation, intrinsic motivation and self-confidence creativity scales of the research group were higher than the male participants, and the difference was statistically significant, respectively (p=0.03 p<0.001) and (p=0.02). It was observed that there was a statistically significant difference in the creativity characteristics, goal orientation, self-confidence and intrinsic motivation scales according to the number of children of the participants (p=0.02, p=0.02 and p=0.005). In our study, there was a statistically high level of significance between creativity subscale self-confidence and goal orientation as the education level and the working time in the sector increased (p<0.001 p<0.001). Employees who participated survey in the creativity subscale evaluate their health perfectly, and it is seen that the difference between the risk taking scale in terms of creativity subscale is statistically significant (p=0.01). In order to ensure that employee motivation is reflected in improvements in the performance of the business, it is revealed that being innovative is important for businesses, and the concept of health literacy and creativity should be constantly considered.
