An application regarding management's commentary report in increasing communication value

This thesis explores the need for standardization in the creation of operational reports prepared by firms under the Integrated Reporting System within the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) framework. Recognizing the increasing complexity and heterogeneity in operational reporting practices, it proposes a novel application to standardize these procedures and enhance overall reporting quality. In the study, first, the enterprise reports and the content of the annual report were examined. Next, management's commantary and key elements of management's commantary are discussed. Finally, a sample application is presented on a hypothetical technology firm to set an example for the six main elements of management's commantary. This study's conclusions significantly contribute to the ongoing discourse in the field of management evaluations and offer practical implications for both regulators and firms in the IFRS context.
