Abstract (EN)
The relation between communication and art is discussed on the art of cinema that is considered as the field of application of art of communication in the context of the functionality of the space. By coronavirus pandemic, communication and art are combined within the same concept of space. Although media aimed to exceed the space previously, function of space has becoming different for the art of cinema. According to the market of distribution and projection of film industry, movie houses placed in shopping centres that contains lots of chain stores have been monopolised by companies, by the way moviegoer have been surrounded by circular consumption. After coronavirus pandemic, movie houses have been excluded from circle of consumption; space of media become synonymous both for communication and art. Thereby film festivals move to online platform and the first online international women's film festival is organised in Turkey. The base of narrative form of cinema which is the other meaning of space for art of cinema, become landmark for the psychoanalytical theory that is one of the method of film analyses. The communication between audience and film is explained by psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis explained by the content of myths enable different critical point of view that causes birth of feminist theory. The symbolic factor shapes women in media which is the part of gender discussed by the feminist theory, become legal framework of social language. Turkish cinema has an identity around laws discrediting gender dualism and due to the fact that women are also recognised as represent of social language. According to this, today, to create an independent Turkish cinema instead of monopolistic one, we should act by the conscious of people in media is effective on defining social language. In the extend of Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival, two films in each thematic anthology broadcasted online are examined by especially taking into account the literary text of film, according to the principle of thinking critical strategies in feminist film theory that "Discrimination Appears First in Language". Online festival which is the projection space of international film producers, also shows that perception of gender is first structured as social language. Approach of explaining by dialectic which is the relevant characteristic between communication and art, can be progressed between audience and film by recognised represents of cinema screen. Because art of cinema is the supporter of mass communication out of discrimination and violence. As is known, from Socrates until today, the way of generating sense is making conversation with each other. So understanding with each other is associated with knowing oneself as denoted by Socrates and other important intellectuals. Consequently, represents of cinema from silver screen to audience allow that audience can find own voice and one another voice sometimes. Variety of represents is possible to create conditions to allow increase in independent productions and is also possible by preventing cinema productions that is handled with the fund of monopolistics. Therefore, the border between consumption culture and production culture should be defined well; mass communication should be a device of generating sense with mass consumption instead of being a gear of mass consumption.
