The importance of school social works in campaign drug addiction of primary education (Secondary school)

The importance of school social service that is a preventive and protective implementation in the fight against substance abuse has been demonstrated with this study. Our research will be a useful reference source in providing the necessary theoretical information and scientific data fob the implementation of school social services, which has just been experimented on our country, in all our schools. In today's world, the age of substance abuse has gradually decreased to the first level of primary education, and it has been revealed in the literature review that the studies on this subject are insufficient. In a consequence of establishment and active working of social school service units in our schools, its success in preventing substance abuse has been investigated, and it has been determined that successful results will be obtained in preventing early age drug addiction. In the theoretical part of the study, a detailed literature review was made. In order to prevent substance abuse that is not only an individual problem but a social problem, it is aimed to contribute to education and training activities with a new solution oriented approach, in line with the opinions and suggestions of our teachers and administrators working in our district, Şiran. As a result of the research, it was understood the importance of preventing substance abuse at an early age. fob this reason, the necessity of school service units, which will be implemented within the schools, has been revealed and it determined that will play an important key role in the prevention of substance abuse.
