Abstract (EN)
This study aims to find out and evaluate the level of scientific process skills 5th primary school students have. Sample group consisted of 452 5th grade students randomly selected from 20 primary schools in Afyonkarahisar?s city center and towns. Percentage, arithmetic average, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze collected data. The alpha level of test statistics was chosen at 0.05 for all tests. The results showed that there are significant differences in students? scientific process skills levels according to educational level of parents, type of schools and having a computer at home. But, no significant difference was detected based on gender.Key Words: Primary education, scientific process skill, science and technology.
