Studies have shown that students in this age group are generally sensitive to the environment and climate change, but there are differences between their knowledge levels and attitudes on the subject. Dec. The level of knowledge that students have about environmental awareness and climate change is influenced by the family environment, environmental interactions and the education they receive at school. Although students are often aware of environmental issues, they may not have a complete understanding of the causes and consequences of climate change. Therefore, it is important that education about climate change is provided in a way that is supported by scientific data, interactive and offers practical solutions to everyday life. In addition, practical events and projects should be organized to increase students' sensitivity to environmental problems, emphasize the importance of sustainable lifestyles, and ensure that they understand the impact of individual actions on climate change. The aim of the environmental education and climate change course at the primary school level is to support the development of environmental awareness, sense of responsibility and sustainable life skills in students. In order to raise students as sensitive individuals to environmental problems and contribute to making environmentally friendly decisions in the future, the content of this course should be enriched with up-to-date scientific information, interactive and experimental learning methods should be used, and an approach that encourages active participation of students should be adopted.
