Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to define the effect of a constructivist theory and behaviorist theory on students? success in science and technology class. Participants in the group are composed of 51 students studying in the 6th class of Toki Primary Education School, Malatya.Control and experimental group pre-test, post-test design was used in thisstudy. An achievement test with 25 questions the reliability and item analysis of which was made before was practised. In the frame of experimental variable constructivist lesson and behaviorist lesson contains a four hour lesson (4 x 40 mins.) a week total four weeks elements and compounds was delivered to control and experimental groups. At the end of experimental process, the post-test was practised on students. The statistical analysis of pre-test and post-test results was made with Windows SPSS 10 packet programme. For the solutions of data dependent and independent groups, ?t? test was used.As a result of analyses, it was found that a significant difference based onConstructivist theory in terms of statistical had an effect of 0,05 on students?success.
