The effect of the 7th and 8th grade students? pleasure in the social sciences lesson on the students placement exam?s (SBS) social studies achievement test

In this study,pleasure of primary school students in social sciences lesson?s effect on the students placement exam?s (SBS) social studies achievement test has been investigated.It has been found that how much effect there is the pleasure of the students in the social sciences lesson on the students? social sciences achievement,and in addition to that it has been determined the achievement of the students in the social sciences class whether was affected by the variables or not.It has been found out that whether the differences among these variables are meaningful or not.Descriptive factor analysis and realibility analysis have been carried out in order to identify the construct validity of the survey. A factor and confidence analysis is conducted in order to determine the structural validity of the survey utilized in this study. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) statistic is computed as 0.91 and the value internal consistency coefficient calculated for confidence study is observed as ? =0.93. the results related to confidence studies depict that survey has a confident structure.Significance was taken as p<05 Research findings and results are given below. It has been found that there aren?t significant difference among students? gender,their parents? education,class and school variables.Key words: Social sciences, Academic Achievement, SBS exam
