Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the study was to reveal primary school information technologies teachers? problems with the areas of personel-professional, teaching, technical, school management and culture, and also the reasons of their problems and their solutions to deal with these problem.This study was designed as a qualitative study. The study was carried out with 15 primary school information technologies teachers working in Antalya?s central districts of Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı and Kepez in the academic year of 2011-2012. The semi structured interview schedule developed by the researcher was used for data collection. Data collected by audio recording were subjected to content analysis.The basic reasons of problems are place and structure of the lesson in the curriculum, classroom environment, lack of hardware, the number of students in classroom, lack of a clear job defination, the duty misunderstanding by the school management, the other teachers, students and parents. The teachers suggested restructuring the ICT lesson in the curriculum, improvement in classroom environment and hardware, and more clear job description of information technologies teachers.
