Managerial needs and instructional leadership problem in maternity schools within primary education institutions

In this study, it is aimed to examine the managerial needs and the problems of the teaching leadership of pre-school teachers working in their kindergartens within the primary education institutions. In this study, which used qualitative research method and qualitative research methods, basic qualitative research pattern to achieve the determined objectives, as a method, this, the working group consists of 24 preschool teachers working in the primary school in Usak province. Semi-structured interview technique was used as the data collection method and the interviewed teachers were determined by the criterion sampling method from the selected sampling methods. An open-ended question pool was created by scanning the field summer and expert opinion was applied to ensure scope validity in accordance with the purpose of the research. It shows that the teachers in the primary education institutions have experienced managerial problems related to power distance and teaching process caused by branch difference with the managers. It has been determined that teachers experience problems related to legislation and issues arising from the duties and responsibilities of administrators. The majority of teachers have stated that their motivation is not affected due to the branch difference of their principals. In the expectations regarding the areas of conceptual and technical competence, it was concluded that teachers are generally excluded from the process and that school administrators do not have sufficient knowledge of the teachers in accordance with the Regulation and Preschool Program of Preschool Education Institutions. Expectations related to humane competence areas have been found to have no problems in general terms. It has been seen that teachers generally meet the needs of instructional leadership, but they do not receive any support in the branch.
