The relationship between the school administrators' efficiencies for change management and organizational change cynicism

The aim of this research is to put forward whether there is a relationship between the school administrators' efficiencies for change management and organizational change cynicism of teachers; besides it is also aimed to analyze the teachers' change cynicism levels according to their specifications. In accordance with this purpose ; personal information form, change cynicism scale and the evaluation questionnaire of school administratives' change management efficiencies were used as data collection tool . The study was carried out with 534 primary,secondary and high school teachers in Afyonkarahisar centre. SPSS 17.0 statistical programming was used at data evaluation. At the end of the study it is found out that the teachers have low level of organisational change cynicism and school administratives have medium level of change management efficieny. And it is also found out that there is statistically significant negative result between the change management efficiencies of school administratives and teachers'perception level change cynicism . Accordingly; the perception level of change cynicism of teachers gets decreased as the change management efficiencies of school administratives increases. Teachers' working duration at the same school factor has an effect upon the perception level of change cynicism of tecahers at cognitive dimension whereas the other factors which are age, gender, seniority, branch, type of the school they work don't carry the impact upon the perception level of organizational change cynicism of teachers at cognitive dimension .
