Abstract (EN)

Organizational cynicism, presenteeism and social loafing are the ones of the most threatening organizational behaviors that should be reduced or completely eliminated. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among organizational cynicism, presenteeism and social loafing of the administrators/teachers working in primary schools. Descriptive survey method was used in this research. The sample of the research consisted of 99 administrators and 465 teachers working in primary schools in Arnavutköy District. The survey data of this study was collected by four scales. These are organizational cynicism, presenteeism, perceived coworker social loafing and demographics variable scales. The study results indicate that the perception of organizational cynicism of teachers and administrators working in primary schools in Arnavutköy is low (at disagree level). On the other hand, the perception of presenteeism and perceived coworker social loafing are at undecided level. According to the research findings there is a negative relationship between presenteeism and perceived coworker social loafing and also a positive relationship between presenteeism and organizational cynicism. There is also a positive relationship between organizational cynicism and perceived coworker social loafing. The hierarchical regression analysis indicates that organizational cynicism partly mediates relationship between presenteeism and perceived coworker social loafing.
