Abstract (EN)
the course books examined in this study contain four books recommended by the board on education to be taught in the 8 th grade turkısh lessons in 2011-2012 academic year. Frequency index of 121 text were created and these text were examined in the precense of word.In thıs study descriptive scanning model and document examination tecnics were used.In the conclusion of research it shows that 8th grade Turkısh course books by different publishers change in the presence of word. ıt stressed that course books which are the reflections of word presence of Turkısh must be prepared more carefully for the conformity of to the target acquistions in the schedule.Key Words : Word , Vocabulary , Basic vocabulary , Turkısh course books
