Özet (EN)
Today, teachers and students spend most of their time in a closed physical space. Forth is reason, the acoustics of the School building, in door weather conditions, lighting-color factor saffect the physical health of the stakeh olders in the school as well as their feelings, thought sand behaviors. The most important in dicator of an effective school is the Education al achievement levels of student saround the world. One of the two basic elements that determine the success of the students in the school is the Education process and the other is the healthy learnin genvironment. Noise is generally defined as artifact sand sounds that disturb people. Technically, noise is defined as theoverlapping of anarchicsoundwaves. This thesis study, which was conducted in the first semester of 2018-2019 academic year, has three main objectives. The first one is to determine the noise level in the 3rd and 4th grades in primary school, the second is to examine the effect of noise pollution education practices on students' awareness and sensitivity, and the third is to investigate the effect of noise pollution education on the awareness and sensitivity of teachers. This thesis study is an action research and it was conducted in the 3rd and 4th grades of the Başaran Primary School in Osmangazi, Bursa. While sound measurements were made at this school and in the classroom, the Brüel & KjaerHand-held Analyzer Type 2250-L ses sound meter was used. The sound measurements were made during classes and classes in the classroom, in the corridors and in the garden outside the building. Within the scope of the research, questionnaires have been applied to the 3rd and 4th class students and teachers of primary schools, and it is aimed to examine how students and teachers are aware of the noise in the school and how uncomfortable they are. The data were analyzed by using SPSS program. The noise level measured in Başaran Primary School and the standard values specified in the regulation were compared. As a result of the findings obtained from the sound measurements, it was determined that the indoor noise levels of Başaran Elementary School differed significantly from the values stated in the regulation. When the ambient noise levels are examined, it is determined that the noise level exceeds the noise level limits. Noise pollution education practices have created awareness and sensitivity in teachers and students. Although the noise level measured in the last sound measurements was lower than the noise level measured in the first sound measurements, it was higher than the limit values specified in the regulation. The fact that the noisy behavior habits gained in previous years were difficult to change later and that our school did not have a quality acoustic isolation in terms of acoustic conditions was effective. These findings show hat there is a need for conducting studies to detect and control noise levels at younger ages, in the main class and in the first class to create a calm learning environment.
