Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to examine the effects of E-STEM implemetations in Science course on the entrepreneurship, STEM perceptions, STEM attitudes of primary school 4th grade students and their views on E-STEM implementations. The implementation process of the research was carried out with 4th grade students studying at a public school in Sakarya Ferizli district in the 2021-2022 academic year. In the research, mixed method research design was used. In the quantitative dimension of the research, quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group was used, and in the qualitative dimension, interview and document analysis techniques were used. STEM Attitude Test, STEM Perception Test and Science-Based Entrepreneurship Test were used for quantitative data, semi-structured interview forms for qualitative data and student diaries as documents were used as data collection tools. While Wilcoxon signed-rank test and Mann-Whitney U test were used in the analysis of quantitative data, qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis method. When the quantitative data were examined, it was revealed that there was a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control group students in favor of the experimental group in terms of STEM attitude, STEM perception and entrepreneurship scores. When the qualitative data wereexamined, it was revealed that E-STEM implementation process gave deep meaning to the entrepreneurial characteristics of the students, they became aware of the engineering design process and their interest in engineering increased. In addition, after the activities, it was determined that the students found the E-STEM activities enjoyable, their sympathy towards science and mathematics courses increased, and their communication skills improved.
