Özet (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to identify the effects of 4th grade science courses conducted with STEM implementations on the perception and attitude of students towards STEM professions. The application of the study was carried out on the second semester of the 2017-2018 academic year in class 4/A of Gömü Primary School in Emirdağ district of Afyonkarahisar. The study was designed in the form of action research. As data collection tools; STEM Attitude Test, STEM Perception Test, STEM Professional Interest Scale, semi-structured interview, video recordings, researcher and student diaries were used. In the study, it was determined that STEM implementations positively increased the interest, perception and attitudes of students towards STEM occupations. At the end of the implementations it was determined that students perceived the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics as integrated; that they found STEM implementations to be fun; and that STEM applications contributed to 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication.
