Opinion of teachers about the level of primary school principals' demonstrating the characteristics of transformational leadership: Adana sample

The population of this study is the primary school teachers who worked in the central districts of Adana in 2012-2013.In this study, the method of non-stratified random sampling is used. The sample of the study is including the primary school teachers working at the schools mentioned in Appendix(2) in Seyhan and Yüreğir districts. During the carry out of survey 300 survey papers were handed out to teachers and 213 of them returned. The analysis of the facts are made via SPSS-20.0(The Statistical Packet for Social Sciences)program and by using analytical techniques such as frequency, percentage, arithmetical average, standard deviation, t- test and one directional variance in computer environment. As a result of this research, findings below are reached in summary: In order to establish the characteristics of transformational leadership of school principals?, the sum of whole dimensions of the survey are calculated. According to this, it is determined that the school principals demonstrate the transformational leadership features.(Average: 3,72. S.S: 1, 07)
