The evaluation of primary school principal's leadership and mentöringattitudes according to the perceptions of class teachers

In this thesis, the evaluation of the leadership and mentoring attitudes of primary school principals according to the perceptions of classroom teachers was discussed and the results of the evaluation were analysed. For this purpose, it was tried to determine what the leadership and mentoring attitudes of primary school principals are and how teachers perceive them by taking the opinions of teachers working in primary schools in the 2021-2022 academic year in the central district of Bingöl province. The data of our thesis study on the Evaluation of Leadership and Mentoring Attitudes of Primary School Principals According to the Perceptions of Classroom Teachers were obtained through an interview form and qualitative research method was used. Content analysis was used in qualitative research approach. The documents containing information about the concepts examined in the research were scanned in detail and it was tried to create a new integrity through this information. In qualitative research, semi-structured interview forms prepared to collect data were used and the collected data were analysed in depth by content analysis method and evaluations were made. The interview forms used in the research were applied to classroom teachers working in primary schools. The interview forms consist of three questions and two sections. In the first part, demographic characteristics were measured with six questions. As demographic information, gender, graduated faculty and department, age group, years of service, professional willingness of teachers and the number of administrators in the school were asked. The second part consists of 3 questions and interconnected items a, b and c. The findings obtained from the perceptions of the teachers were shown in tables and interpretations of the findings were made.
