The purpose of this research is to examine primary school music textbooks in terms of the values included in the 2018 curriculum. About how many songs, reading texts and activities are used in music textbooks on ten values such as 'justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism, helpfulness' in the music lesson curriculum renewed in 2018. is to assess the situation. In the research, document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, and descriptive and content analysis methods were used in the analysis of the data. The primary school music textbooks, which were renewed and started to be used again in 2018 by the Ministry of National Education, were examined in terms of values, through which reading texts, songs and activities, and the use of the values in the curriculum in the book were examined under sub-titles. First of all, the grand total data of all grade levels were tabulated and given numerically. Values at each grade level were examined separately and explained with examples of different types of teaching materials. As a result of the research; The 10 values (justice, responsibility, honesty, friendship, love, patriotism, patience, self-control, responsibility, helpfulness) included in the 2018 curriculum are presented in the primary school music book with three different teaching materials such as 26 reading texts, 67 songs and 33 activities. It has been determined that students are trying to gain. When these teaching materials, which are 126 in total, are examined in the context of processing values; The value of 'love' is in the first place with 20 numbers, while the value that is processed the least is; It has been determined that a total of 6 numbers have the value of 'justice'. Suggestions were made regarding the results.
