Abstract (EN)
This study, was carried out to determine the content validity of unit evaluatıon questions in third-grade science course book in the context of revised bloom taxonomy. In this study, have been investigated the course book of the scientific and cultural publications which was allowed to be published in the Journal of Papers (Tebliğler Dergisi) dated June 2014 and numbered 2681 and the curriculum of the course of Science and Technology dated 01.02.2013 and numbered 7. The course book unit end evaluation questions and curriculum goals, which is the source of the research, is classified according to the revised Bloom taxonomy. In this classification, both the cognitive process and knowledge dimensions of taxonomy were investigated. The during collection and analysis of data, was used for qualitative research methods of Document analysis. Also, Lawshe Coverage Validity Index was used to support with more objective data of this qualitative research. According to the results of the research, both the curriculum goals and the questions in the course book are related to the factual and conceptual knowledge; also the cognitive process size is related to low-level cognitive categories. However, the distribution of questions to goals is not equal, no questions asked about some goals, some questions have also been found to have no goal. Therefore, it can be said that there is no content validity. Also when the Lawshe content validity index is calculated, it becomes clear that the content validity is not sufficient according to the given criteria. Based on the results of the study, it may be suggested that teachers should have knowledge of Revised Bloom Taxonomy and should be able to compensate the deficiencies of textbooks in the measurement process with the questions they will prepare by considering the possibility that the textbooks may not be systematically matched with the teaching programs.
