Abstract (EN)
The Smart Village concept is a rural life model where traditional village life is equipped with applications using information and communication technologies. Smart Villages aim to improve existing living standards in rural areas and ensure sustainability by reorganizing agriculture and animal husbandry with smart systems. Improving living standards means changing existing living standards. This change is also a precursor to changes in social relations. Indeed, the success of the applied technique is directly related to social acceptance, and technology should be considered not only in the technical sense, which includes the physical functioning of machines and systems, but also in the social context. This study aims to examine how technological applications, beyond being purely technical applications, can be reflected in the socio-cultural dimension through the first Smart Village Project implemented in Turkey.
