Structural evaluation for textile and wearing sectors in manufacturing industry

vm SUMMARY Textile and wearing industries in Turkey have great importance within the Turkish manufacturing industry and Turkish economy. These sectors have valuable share at value added and international trade within the Turkey's total production and international trade. In this study, projection of the textile industry's current situation and analysis of sectors' structure are aimed. Value added, gross additions to fixed assets during the year, capacity of power equipment, employment and payments are selected as the indicators of the industry for structural analysis. These data are transformed into information by using mathematical and statistical methods. Some structural properties and correlation between selected indicators are derived as a result of this study.
