Analysis of comments about the Quran words mentioned by Imam Buhari in his Sahih

The tradition of independently creating a commentary section in the Hadith work with a unique method started with Bukhari. Later, some of the famous hadith writers opened a commentary section in their works. In these sections, the verses are placed under chapter headings. Afterwards, hadith narrations related to the verse in the title were included under these headings. Tafsir sections consist of all the chapter headings prepared in this way. It is seen that, unlike the traditions in hadith works, Bukhari included his own personal ideas in his work. When we look specifically at the tafsir book section of Sahih, which is our subject, we see that, apart from the hadith narrations related to the verses, he includes his own personal thoughts and gives some information based on tafsir data. The fact that Bukhari includes some information in his translations and conveys them is another feature that distinguishes him from other writers. In his book, which is actually a work of hadith and expected to contain only narrations, he had the opportunity to convey his personal views through the translations he made in the chapters. In the tafsir book section, Bukhari included linguistic explanations and word explanations that differentiate his work from others. This practice of his was not limited only to the book of tafsir. These word explanations can be found almost everywhere in his work. We only examined the tafsir book section. Bukhari is a scholar who has made a name for himself in the field of tafsir as well as in the field of hadith. As it is known, he was the first to open a tafsir title in the hadith book. The section of Bukhari's commentary book has been the subject of examination by many people. His own comments on the words of the Qur'an, which are included in the headings of this section, attracted our attention from a philological perspective. We took some words and evaluated them as the conditions allowed. We tried to make comparisons with other philological sources. Our wording analysis covers only the tafsir book section. The words we are considering are words that attract our attention in terms of meaning and have more than one meaning.
