Abstract (EN)

Religious education is a lifelong process beginning in childhood and continuing into adulthood. Religious education for the 13–18 age group requires particular sensitivity. In this period, an approach that inspires love rather than fear and is based on accurate knowledge is essential for developing a healthy perception of religion. Religious instruction should consider the child's developmental stage and needs. Conveying the meaning and content of the Holy Qur'an to children is essential. Knowledge they can understand and relate to daily life facilitates learning. Qur'anic stories learned from an early age have a significant impact. Including them in Qur'an-centered education supports the permanence and sustainability of knowledge. The central proposition of this study is: "The Qur'an course in Imam-Hatip High Schools is also characterized as a values-oriented education course, insofar as it engages with the beliefs, ideas, attitudes and behaviors embodied in the Qur'anic stories." Including stories as a method of value transmission emphasizes the scientific and educational importance of the research. Stories can convey values appropriate to adolescents' age and cognition, guide belief, and enrich the Qur'an curriculum in Imam-Hatip High Schools. This study first outlines the main features, aims, and educational value of Qur'anic stories. It then examines the place of these stories—and thus meaning and content—in Imam-Hatip curricula since their inception. The current Qur'an course curriculum is then evaluated. Finally, the role of Qur'anic stories in the current curriculum is assessed, and original units for grades 9-10-11-12 are presented to demonstrate their applicability in the educational process.
