Intrinsic attributes in Māturīdī's work titled Ta'wīlāt Al-Qur'ān

The issue of intrinsic attributes is a problem that concerns all schools in the tradition of Islamic thought. Schools built their understanding of God-realm on attributes. However, this issue is more important than the others for the science of kalām. Because theologians argued that the universe was created later. However, in kalâm the intervention of the Creator in the functioning of the world is explained by divine attributes. The intrinsic attributes, which are the subject of the study, are the attributes of Allah relative to himself. Intrinsic attributes guide people to form an image of what kind of being Allah is. From this point of view, it is the most important factor in the formation of religious thought. In the research the sense of intrinsic attributes revealed by Imam Māturīdī in his work named Ta'wīlāt al-Qur'ān was examined.
