Abstract (EN)

The formation of kidney stones is a common diasese and it has accepted that the formation of kidney stones in super saturated urine is a crystallization process. Kidney stone formations consist of nucleation, growth and aggregation of calcium oxalate monohydrate (COM) crystals is on epithelial cells at renal papillae. All available surgical and medical treatments for kidney stone formation have been carried out high risk factor. Therefore, requirement of today?s condition is finding an alternative therapy.In this study, the effects of natural additives on growth mechanism of the calcium oxalate crystals, which have great importance in biomineralization, were investigated. Corn silk, cherry stem and avocado leaves were used as natural additives.
