Abstract (EN)

Throughout history, medicinal and aromatic plants have been used by people in many different areas throughout history, in the fields of medicine and pharmacy, cosmetics and perfumery, spice production, food and feed additives, obtaining natural dyes and as indoor and outdoor plants for landscaping purposes. The therapeutic properties and uses of these plants were developed and transferred from generation to generation by observing, testing, following written sources and conducting scientific studies. 90-95% of medicinal plants are collected directly from nature. In this study, Stachys cretica subsp. kutahyensis, which is distributed in Kütahya province and is also known as yenideliçay among the public, was grown under in vitro conditions and the phenolic compounds it contained were compared with naturally grown samples. While the seed sizes of the plant vary between 4,24 mm ± 0,43 and 6,79 mm ± 0,44, the average weight of 100 seeds is determined as 0,1546 g ± 0,09 g. Qualitative analysis of the plant extracts obtained with different solvents was performed by LC-MS QTOF and verbascoside compound was detected in ethanol and water extracts of the samples collected from the field and grown in the laboratory. In addition, etidocaine, lupulone, kaempferol 3-lathyroside-7-rhamnoside, glutaconic acid, rosmarinine, ceriporic acid C, jasmonic acid, chlorogenic acid were detected in the samples collected from the field and grown in the laboratory.
