Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to obtain new Schiff bases which contain indole and thiadiazole groups which are not included in the literature and which are thought to be biologically active. For this purpose, a total of 10 different Schiff base derivatives were synthesized by the condensation reaction by indole-3-carboxyaldehyde and indole-5-carboxyaldehyde with 1,3,4-thiadiazole compounds (2,5-dimethoxy cinnamic acid, 3,4-dimethoxy cinnamic acid, 2-nitro cinnamic acid). The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were analyzed by IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and elemental analysis methods.
