ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF INNOVATION POLICY: SAMPLE OF TECHNOCITY REGIONS In our age, it is an inevitable fact that the technologies constantly change and develop. People need new technologies and techniques in line with their changing needs. In this context, the change and development that is taking place affect the economic and social prosperity of the countries as well as the competition in the world markets. The fundamental element of this change and development emerges as innovation. Different innovation systems need to be produced with changing needs. The interconnected innovation and technological developments can affect the whole world through technology transfer, not just the country in which it is located. For this reason, all of the structures that want to survive in an intense competitive environment are trying to put forth ways to continuously improve themselves by following the innovations that are emerging in the world. The technocents that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century are of great importance in order to follow and improve these innovations. Although finding the place in our country later TechnoPark as though the whole world has quite great importance in Turkey. The legitimacy of the law, which was enacted in 2001, in our country brought together the universities, industry and public institutions and strengthened the technocents. The technopolis have multiplied so rapidly that the technological developments in our country accelerated. Thus the world market by providing major contribution to Turkey's science and production technology has accelerated efforts to prepare himself. In this context, we prepare our thesis on the impact of innovation policies turkey economy in order to reveal the sample of the technopolis is composed of four chapters in total. In the first chapter, the concept of innovation is mentioned and the importance of innovations and innovations are explained. In the second part examined the structure in Turkey and in the world of innovation and examples of innovation from various countries are given. In the third chapter technocents are defined and technocenter models and organizational structure of technocents are examined and their advantages are revealed.
