Özet (EN)

The aviation industry is a large area that requires high safety standards. Human factors play a major role in every stage of this industry. When we look at the history of aviation, we see that the majority of aircraft accidents are caused by human errors. Over the years, with the developing technology, the number of accidents caused by machinery has decreased, but the number of accidents caused by human factors has increased. The biggest factors that cause accidents include pilot errors, maintenance errors, and air traffic control errors. In order to ensure flight safety in air transportation, which is increasing day by day, the evaluation of human factors has become a critical issue. One of the most important areas of aviation is aircraft inspection, maintenance, and repair. The problems encountered by employees in this field during their working hours lead to different errors. The purpose of this study is to prepare a questionnaire to determine the effects of human factors on the work of aircraft maintenance technicians, who carry great responsibility for every small detail. The Dirty Dozen, which defines the most common factors that cause human errors, was used as a basis when preparing the questionnaire. The prepared questionnaire questions were matched with the 12 human factors defined by the Dirty Dozen. While the first part of the questionnaire includes demographic questions, academic research questions are included afterwards. In the future, it is aimed to apply the questionnaire to different airline companies and evaluate it statistically.
