Abstract (EN)

60 SUMMARY In 30 humans' stomachs, five different parts, particularly the length, thickness and density in the unit area of elastical fibers in the pylor section and also the histological thickness, the antrum and corpus sections of the stomachs were evaluated comparatively in a histochemical way with a Verhoef - Van Gieson compound paint. Results are evaluated statistically by making hystometric calculations. As a result of finding the thickness, length and density in the unit area of the fibers in the pylor section considerably in : higher value than antrum and corpus, the relation between this and the stomach physiology was discussed. Key words: Gastrointestinal system, Elastic fibers
