Abstract (EN)

Since the Holocene many changes in humanity have taken place in our world. As we approach today, the main factor in this change, which is accelerating more than ever before in history, is man. Human beings, who differs from other living beings through the qualities of thinking, the transfer of past experiences to present, production of knowledge and the positive or negative change of nature, expresses a value in himself. Man, who shapes the environment in his own interest has increased his influence on nature, especially after the Industrial Revolution and many environmental problems have arisen. This work focuses on the negative aspects of human activities against the environment and the effect of religious beliefs. The negative change we observe in nature is not only a simple pollution, but also an environmental problem that leads to the irreversible destruction of the functioning, order and balance of the World, from the lithosphere to the atmosphere. Consideration of the effects and dimensions of environmental problems; the advances in technology, rapid population growth and the abandonment of moral and ethical values will constitute problems in human adaptation to the environment. Among living beings, the most important being that destroys the natural environment is man. The aim of this work is to cahange people's negative behavior towards the environment in a positive way; to emphasise that it is possible to create environmental morality by addressing their beliefs and value judgments by raising people's geographical awareness.
