Understanding the awareness of private employment agencies that offer online service and the sample case of Yalova

In this day and age, unemployment has become an economic and social problem that is of great importance in not only developing countries but also in developed countries and therefore, implementation of several employment policies regarding the solution to unemployment have been initiated. One of these employment policies focuses on increasing the number, efficiency and awareness of intermediary institutions.This study has been undertaken with the purpose of emphasizing the increasing efficiency of private employment agencies that particularly offer online service. To that end, the concept of unemployment in general, the employment policies and the structure of unemployment in Turkey were discussed in the first chapter of this study in order to provide a better understanding to the subject. In the second chapter, the concept of employment intermediation was handled and the employment intermediation of the public was touched briefly and thereafter, the concept of private employment agencies which is the reflection of private sector on employment intermediation and the private employment agencies that offer online service were mentioned.In the last chapter of the study, the data acquired from the survey study which was conducted with the aim of understanding the awareness of private employment agencies were analyzed and even the participants who are uninformed of the concept of the private employment agencies were confirmed to be frequently using private employment agencies that offer online service.
