Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the effects of beta radiation on phosphorescent materials. Nowadays phosphorescent materials are used to get the production of more efficient beta voltaic nuclear batteries. They convert the kinetic energy of particles to fluorescence by using phosphor material and then to convert electricity via photovoltaic cell. We have researched the effects of beta particles by analyzing the parameters such as range and generation rate for different type of phosphorescent materials that are used in nuclear batteries. These parameters effectively improve the output performance and energy conversion efficiency in nuclear batteries.
