Abstract (EN)

The study aims to compare the levels of interleukin 10 in women who have had multiple miscarriages due to toxoplasmosis as well as to find out if serum levels of human interleukin 10 could be used as biomarkers to help diagnose toxoplasmosis early and track its progression The results showed that IgG positivity showed the upper value in the number and percentage of women with a positive result for IgG antibody which recorded 29 women with a percentage of 38.66%, women with IgM antibody showed a positive result which recorded 19 women with a percentage of 15.78% while the women that revealed negative result for IgG and IgM antibodies which recorded 27 women with a percentage 36.0% and it revealed that the mean age of recurrent miscarriage women with toxoplasmosis was recorded 34.74 ± 5.30 years, also it showed that the family history of recurrent miscarriage recorded 49 women with a percentage of 65.33% had a family history with miscarriage while 26 women with a percentage of 34.66% hadn't a family history with miscarriage. The ELISA test showed that 48 women with a percentage of 64.0% had seropositivity for IgG or IgM antibodies, while 27 women with a percentage of 36.0% hadn't seropositivity for IgG or IgG antibodies. The prevalence of a positive serological test result among 75 women with recurrent miscarriage showed that the positive result for anti-IgG was recorded in 29 women with a percentage of 38.66%, while the positive result for anti-IgM was recorded in 19 women with a percentage of 25.33%. The total number of women with recurrent miscarriages infected with Toxoplasma was recorded as 48 women with a percentage of 64.0%, while 27 women with a percentage of 36.0% recorded a negative result for both anti-IgG and anti-IgM. The results showed that the two tested groups significantly varied in their IL-10 levels. The patient group significantly increased the mean IL10 level, which recorded 39.06 pg/mL as compared to 2.46 pg/mL for healthy women. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the mean RBC count between the two tested groups. The patient group significantly increased the mean RBC count, which recorded 7.98 Cs/mL as compared with 4.87 Cs/mL. The findings pointed out that there is a significant difference between the mean of the WBC count in the patient's group and the healthy group. The patient's group significantly elevated the mean WBC count, which recorded 11877.20 cells/µL as compared with 5829.73 Cells/µL for the healthy group. The results show that there are significant differences between the average hemoglobin values for the two groups of women with recurrent miscarriages and healthy women. The results showed that the hemoglobin levels of women who had multiple miscarriages and women who were infected with Toxoplasma were much lower than those of the healthy women, reaching 9.58 grams per deciliter compared to 14.21 grams per deciliter for the healthy women. According to the results of measuring the AST enzyme level, there were big differences between the groups of women who had repeated miscarriages. Researchers who looked at how toxoplasma and repeated miscarriages affected the activity of the ALP enzyme found that there was a significant difference in the levels of the enzyme in the two groups. The sick women's group had a significantly higher rate of the enzyme, reaching 70.54 U/L, while the control group's rate was 61.60 IU/L. It was found that the group of infected women had significantly higher urea levels compared to the healthy women. In the patient group, the urea level increased significantly to 44.32 mg/dL, while the control group recorded 28.86 mg/dL. The results showed that there were big differences in the creatinine level in the blood of women who had multiple miscarriages and those who were infected with Toxoplasma. The level of creatinine in the blood of healthy women was 0.87 mg/dL, which was within the normal range.
