An investigation of teachability of Turkish wold literary texts within the frame of naturel culture theme in the eighth grade Turkish course

In this study, the teachability of Turkish World literary texts within the frame of national culture theme in the eight grade Turkish course were investigated. Four texts were prepared for the national culture theme. One of the texts was chosen and this text was performed with 15 students in the 8th grade of Ş. J. Çvş. Erman Aydın Middle School and Ş. J. Çvş. Erman İmam Hatip Middle School-Osmangazi-Bursa. In the research, Turkish World Literary Texts Achievement Test (TWLTAT), Attitude Scale Towards Turkish World Literary Texts (ASTWLT) and Course Content prepared With Turkish World Literary Texts (CCPTWLT) were used as data collection tools. The Turkish World Literary Texts Achievement Test and Attitude Scale Towards Turkish World Literary Texts were performed as pre-post tests. The content analysis was used to prepare the CCPTWLT. TWLTAT and ASTWLT pre-post test results were obtained by quantitative data analysis methods. In the study SPSS 22.00 program was used. The exploratory was used for structure validity of ASTWLT; t-test and Mann Whitney U test were employed for the independent samples for the comparison of the students in terms of their age, gender and attitudes; the t-test was used for the dependent samples for the comparison of TWLTAT and ASTWLT pre-test and post test results. At the result of this research, it was seen that the aritmetic mean values of the TWLTAT pretest and posttest results became significantly different. With this result, it can be said that the study succeeded in the teachability of Turkish World literary texts and this research will be guide for the researchers.
