Political and social position of the Turkish women through the perspective of Iranian women

İn the study, both the rights of Turkish women that have acquired from the past to the present are determined and also to what extent women can benefit from these rights are taken into consideration. With this study, it aims to uncover that the evaluation of the Iranian women who living in Turkey about the political and social situation of Turkish women. Another aim of this study is that to determine the reflection of the concept of gender equality in Turkish women. The data obtained from the semi-structured interview techniques with 20 Iranian female participants who are at least 2 years residing in Turkey, stay abreast of Iran and Turkey agenda, at least high school graduates, were used in the study. In the study, it is revealed that the social and political rights (especially on civil law) of Turkish woman are higher than İranian Women's rigths. And again for two society (IRAN and TURKEY), it is revealed that the problems experienced in the use of social and political rights were found to be similar due to the patriarchal cultural structure.Another conclusion from this study, in the eyes of the İranian women , There is no gender equality in Turkey.
