Abstract (EN)

In this master's thesis, it is aimed to evaluate the lifelong learning tendencies, work ruminations, skill conflicts and professional satisfactions of individuals who make up the workforce, with demographic variables and with each other. The Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale, the Work-Related Rumination Scale, the Skills Mismatch Scale and the Job Satisfaction Scale were used in the study. The scales of the concepts were applied to 310 participants working in any of the white- and blue-collar occupations. As a result of the research, among the lifelong learning tendencies and demographic variables of the employees, on the basis of occupational group, gender, age group, educational status; gender and wage among work-related ruminations and demographic variables; skill mismatches and demographic variables on the basis of occupation, gender, education level and wage; It has been determined that there is a significant difference between job satisfaction and demographic variables on the basis of occupational group, age group, gender, education level, seniority in the profession, marital status and the amount of wages received. The relations of the concepts with each other are explained with the Path model. In the model, on the other hand, affective rumination score has a positive effect on lifelong learning tendencies and skill aging; skill gap plays a mediating role in the effect of problem solving and desire for improvement scores on lifelong learning tendencies, and in this case, the scores for problem solving and development desire have a positive effect on the skill gap; the skill gap has a negative effect on lifelong learning tendencies; It has been concluded that the eligibility score has a positive effect on skill obsolescence.
