Abstract (EN)

This thesis was conducted to examine the effect of job characteristics (ability diversity, task identity, task importance dimensions) on the PERMA well-being model (meaning and engagement dimensions). The target population of the research consists of teachers working at primary and secondary education levels in Gumushane. In the research, the data were obtained by adapting and using the "job characteristics scale" and "PERMA well-being model scale" in the literature. The data collected in the study were analysed using SmartPLS package program. As a result of the research, it was found that the "talent diversity", "task identity" and "task importance" dimensions of the job characteristics model had positive and significant effects on the "meaning" and "attachment" dimensions of the PERMA model. Based on these results, it is thought that this study can contribute to the relevant literature.
