Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine the effect of job characteristics evaluations of the health workers working in public hospitals on cyberloafing behavior. For this purpose, firstly, the theoretical framework of the research has been prepared in the light of domestic and foreign literature search on the subject. In the study, a questionnaire technique was applied on health workers in public hospitals. The population of the study is composed of the employees of public hospitals operating in the city center of Afyonkarahisar and a total of 435 questionnaires were included in the analysis. The validity and reliability analyzes of the questionnaire related to the job diagnosis and the scales related to cyberloafing were performed. Respondents' responses to the questionnaire; factor analysis, frequency, percentage and arithmetic mean determined; t test, one way variance analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis methods were applied. According to the results of this study, it was evaluated that health workers' overall job characteristics were positive and cyberloafing behaviors were low levelled. Moreover, the results of the analyzes revealed that work characteristics had a significant negative effect on cyberloafing behavior in the medium strength.
