Abstract (EN)
It is accepted that one of the factors that contribute to the global warming problem is the use of refrigerants containing CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) or HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbon). To get around this problem, people are making refrigerants that won't hurt the ozone layer. Various studies are carried out on zeotropic fluid mixtures that do not harm the ozone layer in heat pumps. In this study, the cooling and heating efficiencies of heat pumps using various zeotropic fluid mixtures were investigated by changing various system parameters. First of all, the cycle calculation of heat pumps operating according to the classical refrigeration cycle and using CFC or HCFC-containing refrigerants was carried out in Excel using REFPROP data. Then, classical heat pump cycle calculations were made using R134a-isobutane and R1234yf-isobutane zeotropic fluid mixtures as refrigerants. After figuring out how well the system works with CFC or HCFC-containing refrigerants, it was looked into how the efficiency of the heat pump changed with the mass ratio of the zeotropic refrigerant components and other system parameters.
