Investigation on laws concerning waste management, problems and solution proposals in Turkey at the context of occupational health and safety

In this study, the regulations and laws in act on waste management in Turkey, the studies in literature and available statistics have been investigated. As on-site case studies, fifteen pilot companies in Turkey are examined concerning the waste management.. Problems of five companies were given in detail among the twelve companies which have been deficiencies at the field. The problems of the companies which are out of their own control at the context of waste management and the solution proposals which should be urgently put into effect by the Enviroment and City Ministery were introduced.
