The mediation role of innovation climate in the effect of job satisfaction on sustainable performance of employees

Abstract (EN)

With easier access to global resources, organizational structures have created tight competition conditions in order to obtain more output by using similar resources and opportunities. In order to make a difference in this competition, organizations have to need more creative, effective and efficient business ideas. In order to increase the performance of the employees, organizations aim to keep their job satisfaction at the highest level and to ensure that they continue to be motivated, and many techniques and methods have been developed to achieve this benefit. The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating role of innovation climate in the effect of job satisfaction levels of healthcare professionals working in the healthcare sector in our country on their sustainable performance. In addition, the job satisfaction and sustainable performance of healthcare professionals and their relationships with the innovation climate sub-dimensions of providing resources, supporting innovation and inhibiting innovation were also examined. It was aimed to represent the universe by applying a survey to 411 people working in the health sector in Turkey. Following factor and confidence analyzes on the scales, normality assumptions were checked before proceeding with the target analyses. The analyzes were continued with parametric tests by comparing these assumptions, Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical values, skewness kurtosis values, coefficient of variation and interpretation of q-q plot graphs. When the analyzes are examined, it is seen that job satisfaction has a positive effect on the sustainable performance of the employee, job satisfaction has a positive effect on the innovation climate , and innovation climate has a positive effect on the sustainable performance of the employee and it was determined that the innovation climate played a mediating role in the effect of job satisfaction on the sustainable performance of the employee. In line with the analysis, the positive effects of the innovation climate have been determined, and it is thought that this study will have a positive impact on the incentives to be given to managers or employees working in the health sector regarding the innovation climate.
