Abstract (EN)
Insulation material has an important place in heat transfer. Energy loss is tried to be reduced with the insulation material. Thus, energy can be saved and heat energy can be transferred efficiently. In this study, optimization algorithms are adapted for the solution of heat transfer problems. Optimization algorithms aim to find the optimum solution with a certain number of random solutions, improvement and repetition steps of these solutions. It has been tried to predict the thickness of the insulation material to be used at a predetermined thickness for the highest allowable heat loss in cylindrical surfaces and the thickness of the insulation material at a certain maximum thermal conductivity constant for the highest allowable heat loss. For laminated flow, first the maximum, minimum and target (19.6 mm) values of the target thermal boundary layer thickness (δ_t), then the maximum, minimum and target (160.43 W) values of the heat flow (Q) from the leading edge (x). It made estimates based on the maximum, minimum and target (0,61 m) of the distance. To realize this situation, 12 different traditional and up-to-date optimization algorithms have been used. The same start values, population size and number of generations were chosen to appropriately evaluate both results and optimization algorithms. In order to show that the purpose has been achieved, solutions are applied on the sample problems and presented comparatively.
