The role of distribution justice in the relationship of work-life balance

In this study, when the concepts of work-life balance, cynicism and distributive justice were examined, the role of distributive justice in the relationship between work-life balance and cynicism was investigated. The changing social and economic conditions with the effect of globalization have caused differentiation in the needs and demands of the individual and the workplace. Increasing responsibilities in working and family life for the individual, the desire to increase living standards; From a workplace perspective, many factors such as productivity and competitive advantage have made the concept of work-life balance important. On the other hand, based on the perception of individuality, cynicism is the belief that the people with whom one communicates do not reflect their own characters. Considering that the most important resource for the organization is the human factor, it is observed that studies on work-life balance and cynicism have increased considerably.In the study, the role of distributive justice in the relationship between work-life balance and cynicism was investigated. The data obtained by applying a questionnaire to 349 people working in the health sector were evaluated. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that there were negative and significant relationships with the dependent variable cynicism, the independent variables work-life balance and its dimensions, and distributive justice. It has been observed that the level of work-life balance affects the level of cynicism negatively and significantly. It has been observed that the employees do not have a regulatory role in the distribution justice at the level of work life balance and cynicism balance. It has been concluded that there is a distributive justice in the relationship between work-life balance, intervention in private life, and level of cynicism.
