Abstract (EN)

In today's working conditions, employees' job performance in achieving success by sustaining the competitive advantages of the organizations has an effective importance. Work – life balance, being one of the factors having most significant impact on employees' job performance has recently become one of the most researched topics in organizations. As the roles and responsibilities of employees increase, the fulfillment of these responsibilities as partners or parents become simultaneously challenging and as a result, a major problem such as the deterioration of the work-life balance arises. Similarly, this situation affetcs employees' job performance in a negative way. The purpose of this study is researching the issue of work-life balance and the relationship between work-life balance and job performance. Therefore according to the findings of the research we realized, work-life balance affects job performance in a positive and meaningful way. On the other hand, according to the research, work-life balance does not have a significant difference on gender and overtime. Moreover, according to the realized research results, job performance differs with the educational level of the participants. Accordingly, Postgraduate/Doctorate graduates have higher job performance in comparison with High School/College and University graduates.
