The effect of quality of work life on work satisfaction of employees: An implementation in a private electricity company in Ankara

The principal aim of this study is to investigate the effect of work life quality on job satisfaction of individuals working in a private electricity company located in Ankara with general and sub-dimensions and determine the significance of the mantioned effect. The scales developed to serve his purpose, appied on 124 employees among 250 workers who participanted in the study voluntarily to collect data. Therefore, the data obtained from 124 people were entered into the SPSS 22.0 analysis program, and analysed by performing Anova tests, frequency, validity, reliability, normality, correlation, regression and T test. As a result of the analysis, work life quality and its sub-dimensions (work-life balance, job characteristics, managerial behavior, and reward and benefit) positively and significantly affect employees' job satisfaction and its sub-dimensions (internal satisfaction and external satisfaction). The effect could be seen strictly not only between work life quality and job satisfaction, but also between work-life balance and internal satisfaction.
